Conformity and getting along seem to be our natural instincts. We even have clichés that assuage our guilt over inactivity: “Don’t make waves; don’t rock the boat.” And yet, there is a voice in us that resists. At the core, we value boldness, bravery, and swimming against the current. But how do we fight the social conditioning that makes us timid? Where do we find the nerve to act with nobility? I think Peter wanted to give us that in his letters. This series of messages explores those letters and offers to help us find our courage.
